The Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA) is dedicated to supporting economic development and providing world-class workforce training and services to both the public and private sectors. CCWA offers hundreds of generic and client-specific classroom-based training programs. Participation in these programs has been declining as end users have turned to online programs.
LeanForward developed a comprehensive plan to develop over 60 online programs to offer as alternatives to their classroom-based programs. This plan included complete project management, guidelines for the client’s Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to help prepare their materials, a CCWA-specific Instructional Design model and rapid elearning development.
LeanForward completed this project in less than a year while also limiting the demands placed on CCWA’s internal resources. These elearning programs generated over 2,000 course completions in their first year alone, and enabled CCWA to reach hundreds of learners who could not have attended one of their traditional instructor-led training programs. Since then CCWA has engaged us to convert dozens of additional programs into elearning.
