Market Research Company Selects LeanForward for Client Training Initiative
July 28, 2008 - A major market research company selected LeanForward to develop interactive client training on its new market intelligence solution. In order to satisfy the needs of the client’s diverse audience, LeanForward is developing elearning as well as instructor-led training programs. Both training mediums will include extensive software simulations to help end users master the application quickly and efficiently. The organization contracted with LeanForward to enhance its instructional materials based on our instructional design expertise and experience developing similar software training.
State Health Departments license LeanForward’s Mass Dispensing training
June 15, 2008 - The Florida Department of Health and the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services have licensed LeanForward’s interactive Dispensing Supplies from the Strategic National Stockpile computer-based training course. This course will provide emergency responders with clear and consistent training on how to quickly and efficiently dispense medical supplies from the federal Strategic National Stockpile within 48 hours of the decision to do so. The course is being integrated into each state’s emergency preparedness plans and will also be available for just-in-time training in the event of a public health emergency. Florida and Delaware join over a dozen local health departments who have also licensed Dispensing Supplies from the Strategic National to train their local personnel and volunteers.
LeanForward to produce substance abuse training for NCAA athletes
May 22, 2008 - Prevention Strategies has engaged LeanForward to assist in the development of interactive substance abuse prevention training for NCAA College athletes. This web-based training program, called My Playbook, will include a series of courses that address the unique challenges faced by college athletes. The program will include realistic simulations that enable student athletes to see the potential consequences of their decisions regarding the NCAA’s banned substances.
LeanForward to develop Troxler Laboratories’ Nuclear Gage training program
May 12, 2008 - Troxler Laboratories selected LeanForward to develop and host its new online Nuclear Gage Safety training program. LeanForward will be developing two web-based training programs, one on Nuclear Gage Safety and another one specifically on HAZMAT as it applies to nuclear gages. Troxler will also be using LeanForward’s intuitive LearnPoint learning management system. Troxler’s clients will be able to self-register, enroll and pay for the courseware using LearnPoint’s e-commerce functionality.
LeanForward launches Public Health University
April 15, 2008 - Building off its experience with the Virginia Department of Health, LeanForward has launched an online Public Health University as a resource for efficient and effective public health training. Public Health University provides training for government and private sector personnel. It is deployed using LeanForward’s LearnPoint Learning Management System. Training is available on an individual basis through LearnPoint’s eCommerce feature or can be licensed to groups of 25 or more.
Fortune 500 Life Science Company Selects LeanForward for Global Initiative
April 1, 2008 - A Fortune 500 Life Science company selected LeanForward to develop interactive training on its new enterprise compliance management software. The training will incorporate extensive software simulations to ensure that users master the application before they start using it in a production environment. Eyes On Web-Based Training Initiative
February 20, 2008 - The Traffic Audit Bureau for Media Measurement selected LeanForward to develop a series of web-based training modules to educate its membership on its exciting new Eyes On Out-of-Home Media Measurement System. Eyes On goes one beyond other media measurement systems to provide information about who actually see’s the advertising. The series will incorporate rich, interactive media to appeal to advertisers, advertising agencies and media owners.
Preventions Strategies and LeanForward release the CROSSROADS program.
January 31, 2008 – LeanForward partnered with Prevention Strategies for the design and development of the online component of the CROSSROADS program. McNichols licenses LearnPoint™ and Lectora.
January 5, 2008 - McNichols, a commercial supplier of fiberglass and metal grating, licenses the ASP version of LearnPoint™. The application will be used to provide training to McNichols employees throughout its twenty-seven locations throughout North America. Lectora will be utilized to develop its courseware.
Dacor selects LeanForward’s Learning Management System (LMS).
November 5, 2007 - Dacor, a world-class appliance manufacturer, has selected LearnPoint™ to power its online university. Dacor University will provide cutting edge training to resellers and sales personnel across the country. LeanForward’s design team has been contracted to lead the development of the initial web-based training modules for the university.

October 3, 2007 - Deploying SNS Assets through the Cities Readiness Initiative (CRI) is a computer-based training (CBT) course that provides an efficient and cost-effective method for providing personnel and volunteers with clear and consistent training on the CRI mass dispensing process. This course, developed in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Health, can be used for all personnel who may be involved in a CRI or other mass dispensing response including Department of Health personnel, emergency personnel, administrative personnel and volunteers.
Park University Enterprises contracts with LeanForward for CBT development.
August 31, 2007 – Park University Enterprises, parent company of Fred Pryor Seminars, CareerTrack and the Evelyn Wood training series, contracted with LeanForward to build a computer-based training course. LeanForward’s design team met Park’s challenge of building an engaging CBT course within two weeks.

September 23, 2007 – Realogy, the parent company of Coldwell Banker, selects LeanForward’s Instructional and Graphic Design teams to develop to a Web-Based Training module on CBWorks. The CBWorks site is a comprehensive tool for sales associates.
Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) initiates two new projects.
August 15, 2007 – GIT initiates the development of two web-based training modules – ISO14001 and Working with the Registrar. Both of these programs build on the success of the ISO9001 course completed last year. LeanForward’s Instructional and Graphic design teams will lead the development a SCORM compliant ISO14001 course to be offered on GIT’s LMS and a Adobe Flash course to be available on GIT’s website.
LearnPoint™ V1.8 Released.
June 23, 2007 - LeanForward has released version 1.8 of LearnPoint™ . The new version adds a number of new features and includes a significant change to how live classroom training is scheduled and managed. Live courses have been removed in favor of live lessons for managing classroom training. This allows the flexibility to create courses with both classroom and online lessons simultaneously and provides the ability to manage multiple classroom training sessions. This version allows administrators to create schedules, mark status and add scores for learners. All data will appear seamlessly in existing reports.
College Alc Series updated for 2007/2008 Academic Year.
May 31, 2007 - LeanForward and Preventions Strategies have updated the College Alc series for the 2007/2008 academic year based on continued research in the field of alcohol prevention and awareness. This online educational series was used by over 15 leading universities and college in 2006. The series has been shown to be effective in modifying students’ perception and use of alcohol based on an independent study conducted by the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation. The study was published by the Journal of American College Health in their January/February 2007 issue.
